I’ve been a professional artist for 15 years, first exhibiting at the Mulberry Tree Gallery in Swanage, Dorset, in 2009. My paintings are drawn from life, mainly in the UK and most frequently along the banks of the River Thames in Surrey and on the hills, fields, cliffs and beaches of the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset
I enjoy painting people at work or play and have painted actors and players at Hampton Court Palace (one of which hangs in the Royal Real Tennis Club Members’ room ) and familiar faces in Purbeck. One of my most recent paintings, “The Gardeners”, shows volunteers of the Royal Parks preserving and improving the Water Gardens in Bushy Park near Hampton Court. In the last twelve months, I have produced and donated a series of six paintings to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Swanage Life Boat Station. These are shown in the My Work section of this website
Do please note that the Swanage RNLI team owns the Lifeboat images to use, display and reproduce as is useful and so please contact the Station if you’d like to see them framed and “in the flesh” or even purchase an original or a copy

CURRENT PROJECTS
I am currently continuing my work as “artist in residence” at the RNLI Swanage and completing four private commissions, three of which will be exhibited in the Mulberry Tree Gallery this summer
MOLESEY ART SOCIETY
I will exhibit a series of unframed fine art prints at this year’s Spring Exhibition from 8th to 12th April, 2026, showing people and places around Hampton Court, the Thames and the Royal Parks
